CBP SIMPLIFIED METHOD OF NUMBERING BOOKS
The following simple, and easy method of numbering books makes Text Numbers and Binding Numbers more understandable.
Example, 820/22: the number 820 preceding the shilling mark (/) is the number of the TEXT or Title of book.
The number (/22) following the shilling mark (/) is the particular STYLE OF BINDING.
/00 — Cloth, hardcover, gold stamped, colored edges
/04 — Flexible durable paper cover
/10 — Simulated leather, flexible, round corners, colored edges
/09 — Flexible vinyl jacket cover, colored edges
/13 — Leather, flexible, round corners, gold edges, gold stamped
